Mark 10:45 AV
For even the Son of man
came not to be ministered unto,
but to minister,
and to give his life
a ransom for many.
The Christ serves by giving Himself as a sacrifice for sin.
▪︎ He gives His soul.
▪︎ He willingly sheds His blood before God.
▪︎ He is the Good Shepherd Who lays down His life for the sheep.
Thus He pays the price necessary to set sinners free.
The power of His sacrifice is so great that many are saved by it.
That marks the space that is with the Lord.
He brings His church together from all nations.
But it also points out the need to believe in Him.
Not all are blessed. You share only by faith in His sacrifice.
That is why the invitation goes through the world: Be reconciled to God.
The Lord calls you to salvation in the Christ.
But He also warns:
Whoever despises Him does not have a sacrifice for sin.
