My questions is general, but I believe you can make us learn with scripture guidance.
Pastor, what of female pastor’s, prophetesses, reverends, etc. preaching while men are members in the church?
—–
Thank you for your opinion about my teaching, but I want you to know that there are many who absolutely disagree with you on this matter.
And further ALL glory be to God.
I’m NOT WORTHY to receive any.
The word “pastor” is translated from the Hebrew word הער – ra‘ah (raw–aw’); meaning to tend a flock; i.e. pasture it; to graze (literally or figuratively); to rule; by extension, to associate with (as a friend); companion, keep company with, devour, eat up, evil entreat, feed, use as a friend, make friendship with, herdman, keep [sheep], pastor, shepherd.
And it is only found eight times in the King James Version and once in the NASB, on places where other translations use the words like “shepherd” etc.
So you also could have included the male function.
And “Reverend”… I used that title too but stopped using it, because it actually means ‘worthy of honor‘, and in my opinion there is only One, Who is worthy of ALL honor.
Now some Bible verses you asked for:
Disciple:
Acts 9:36
Prophetess:
Exodus 15:20
Judges 4:4
2 Kings 22:14
2 Chronicles 34:22
Nehemiah 6:14
Isaiah 8:3
Luke 2:36
Revelation 2:20
Woman:
1 Corinthians 11:5-15
2 Timothy 2:11-12, 14
Revelation 2:20
I GUESS that all those will have spoken, and not only to women.
Success with your further study.
