Matthew 11:16-17
¹⁶But to what shall I compare this generation?
It is like children sitting in the market places,
who call out to the other children, ¹⁷and say,
‘We played the flute for you, and you did not dance;
we sang a dirge, and you did not mourn.’
Those children will wonder, why should we continue to play the flute?
As there is nobody dancing, nobody listening, nobody giving attention…
Those children will wonder, why should we continue to sing?
As there is nobody listening, nobody giving any reaction…
One day the sound of the flute will no more be heard,
and the singing will stop.
It will become silent..!
Isaiah says in Isaiah 40:3
The voice of him that crieth in the wilderness,
Prepare ye the way of the LORD,
make straight in the desert a highway for our God.
This voice is still crying..!
But.., in the wilderness, in the desert,
▪︎ there are not many who are listening,
▪︎ there are not many who are willing to prepare a way for the Lord in their life,
▪︎ there are not many who are willing to clean up the desert in their lives, in their hearts.
One day this voice will also be silenced.
Amos 8:11-12
¹¹Behold, days are coming, declares the Lord God,
When I will send a famine on the land,
Not a famine for bread or a thirst for water,
But rather for hearing the words of the Lord.
¹²People will stagger from sea to sea
And from the north even to the east;
They will go to and fro to seek the word of the Lord,
But they will not find it.
These days the true word of God can still be found,
But as people keep following the false teachers, it will become scarce.
And in the end, all they can find is a fake gospel, based on what satan whispers into the ears of their “leaders”.
2 Corinthians 11:13
For such men are false apostles,
deceitful workers,
disguising themselves as apostles of Christ.
Leaders, not appointed by God, but those whom they have chosen for themselves.
2 Timothy 4:3
For the time will come
when they will not endure sound doctrine;
but wanting to have their ears tickled,
they will accumulate for themselves teachers
in accordance to their own desires
Now the word of God is still available, but most rather listen to what tickles their ears. But by the time they realize the fake gospel doesn’t satisfy, they may find out, that the true word of the Lord can no more be found.
Others act as if they are super holy…
▪︎ Some are fighting among each other, about how they should, or should not, pronounce the names of God, and of Jesus.
▪︎ Some are fighting among each other, about which Bible translation you should use, and which you should throw away.
All these kinds of things are also given by satan to the people, to keep them occupied, so they will have no time to give attention to the things that really matter.
Last year there was a time that almost 11 million people were able to read my daily messages. At this moment there is only a handful of people left who are really reading my messages.
The majority were cut off by Facebook by confining me to my own group and page, but also many left,
▪︎ because I don’t consequently use the King James Version,
▪︎ because I don’t continually fight those churches with false doctrines,
▪︎ because I don’t use the Hebrew names of God, Jesus and other persons,
▪︎ and so on…
And don’t be fooled by the number of friends you may see on my account, for most will not even notice it, if I would unfriend them today.
▪︎ I know there are only a few left who are reading my daily messages
▪︎ I know that others who bring the true Gospel, experience the same
▪︎ I know that churches who preach what the Bible says lose members
And I also know that churches, groups, and pages, who entertain their visitors with what they like to hear, are getting more and more attendance. But these growing numbers of members say nothing about the condition of their souls.
And so the time that people will be seeking the word of the Lord, and not be able to find it anymore, draws nearer day by day.
So my advice for you is to
Isaiah 55:6
Seek the Lord while He may be found;
Call upon Him while He is near.
