ekklesia
Ekklesia was originally the name of this group. Named after a Bible study group I had in my home for many years.
The name means “the called out ones”. In the Biblical sense a group, or gathering, of people who are called out from the world to eternal glory.
And since there arose confusion, because other groups also named themselves Ekklesia, and people asked me why I was not writing in my own group (they became members of one of the other groups) I changed the name to “The Worldwide Ekklesia”, as the members of this group are from all over the world, and the group is therefore worldwide.
The name points therefore to all members. The suggested name Ecclesiastes (meaning preacher) would only point to me. Therefore I named it Ekklesia, and not Ecclesiastes.
