Psalm 28:9
Save your people and bless your inheritance; be their shepherd and carry them forever.
Most of us are familiar with Psalm 23 (The Lord is my shepherd). This Psalm is a little bit less popular.
▪︎ It is a prayer, asking God to save His own, and to bless them.
▪︎ It is a plea to God, to actively shepherd all of His people today.
▪︎ It is also a great reminder of how important it is for us to pray for God’s presence in the lives of His children wherever they are!
▪︎ And to pray for the lives of those who are not yet His children. For without shepherd we are nothing but lost sheep.
PRAYER SUGGESTIONS:
• Ask God to give you opportunities to share His Gospel to those around you.
• Ask God to bless you, so you may lead others into His truth.
• Ask God that you will be able to pass on a vibrant, and passionate faith.
