Colossians 2:8-23
⁹For IN HIM all the fullness of Deity dwells in bodily form, ¹⁰and IN HIM you have been made COMPLETE, and He is the head over all rule and authority; ¹¹and IN HIM you were also circumcised with a circumcision made without hands, in the removal of the body of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ; ¹²having been buried WITH HIM in baptism, in which you were also raised up WITH HIM through faith in the working of God, who raised Him from the dead.
IN HIM you have the substance of all the shadows of the ceremonial law, and not only that, but IN HIM all the defects of it, are made up in the gospel of Christ, by his COMPLETE SACRIFICE for sin, and by the revelation of the will of God.
IN HIM you have been made COMPLETE.
To be COMPLETE, means that you are furnished with all things necessary for salvation.
This one word “COMPLETE ,” shows you that you have IN THE CHRIST all that is required.
“IN HIM,” shows you that you must have a very close relationship with the Christ. Not, like you are looking to Him, as if He was at some distance from you, but you must be IN HIM, and He in you. (John 6:56 – He who eats My flesh and drinks My blood abides IN ME, and I IN HIM.)
By the will of God, through the blood of Jesus, and by the power of the Spirit you have received this UNITY with God.
It was the Spirit Who worked this out in your heart, and by this same Holy Spirit we can now operate as the body of the Christ, and we are united to our Head.
If you are still missing this in your life, please don’t wait any longer! But please repent and surrender to the Christ today!
Take up your cross, and follow Jesus for He is the only way to the Father.
Without Him you are lost, and end up in hell.
For sure you don’t want to go there!
He has been waiting for you, already for so long.
So come right now!
And maybe, just maybe, your time of grace is almost ending.
And maybe, just maybe, this might be your last chance, to settle it all with the Christ.
Please don’t wait till it is too late!
For, once it is too late, you’ll have an eternity to feel sorry that you did not accept the invitation.
To be continued.
