Matthew 12:42
The queen of the south shall rise up
in the judgment with this generation,
and shall condemn it:
for she came from the uttermost parts of the earth
to hear the wisdom of Solomon;
and, behold, a greater than Solomon is here.

It is indeed a telling witness, who puts the Lord Jesus as the second before the evil and adulterous generation.
The Pagan Queen of the South.
She is described in the journey she makes to Solomon. Even in her land the rumor had spread of the wisdom of Solomon. So great was that wisdom that it had been heard so far.
And now she would do anything to listen to that wisdom of his own.
We read of her that she came to tempt Solomon with riddles.
She struggles with life’s questions to which she has no answers.
And it turns out she can turn to him.
When she comes to him, he explains everything.
No thing she worries about is hidden from him.
In Solomon’s wisdom is the brightness of the wisdom of Christ.
Happy is that person who has been given that wisdom.
The rumor of it still comes to you and me through the preaching.
Do you also have the great question, how will you ever be reconciled to God?
Behold, then, in the wisdom of the superior Solomon, there is still an answer for timid sinners in Himself.
