We have all been born once (physically), but Jesus said: “Unless one is born again (spiritually), he cannot see the kingdom of God.” (John 3:3)
It is therefore essential for us to be born again (spiritually) in order to spend eternity with God in His kingdom.
Referring to “born again” Christians, the Bible says that they are “… born again, not of corruptible seed but incorruptible, through the Word of God…” (1 Peter 1:23)
So, a Christian is someone who has allowed the incorruptible seed (the Word of God – Jesus Christ) to be firmly planted in his life.

How Will I Know If I Have Been Genuinely “Born Again”?
Answer
Jesus said that you will know real Christians by their fruit. (Matthew 7:16)
In other words, real Christians want to do what the Bible says,
And reading the Bible will help them grow.
If you find that you are willing to do what the Word of God directs you to do, then this would be a clear indication that you are allowing the Christ to be the Lord of your life.
We must remember that a seed can only grow as long as it is being properly cared for. If you follow the Bible’s directions you will grow to (spiritual) maturity.
