I am amazed and shocked how easy “Christians” misuse God’s name in groups.
Messages like “You will receive a blessing before a certain date in God’s name” on one side of the spectrum to “You will burn in hell if you don’t share this picture or message” on the other side, are almost common.
With prophesying (good or bad) what God did not speak you are turning God into a liar!
They too know, that God will not turn all those who write amen under it, into millionaires. So this makes them to false prophets.
Further they should not use God’s name so lightly, for doesn’t the Bible clearly teach us: “Thou shalt not take the name of the LORD thy God in vain; for the LORD will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain.” (exodus 20:7)
The person who put this on the Internet is feeding greed to the reader, and we all know that God hates greed.
And the person who reacted on it was misled and reacted because of his or her greed and selfishness.
Because of the message, both stand guilty before God. So much better is not to put these kind of messages anymore.
Maybe there is also a task for the admins to protect their members for this kind of sin and prevent these messages to be published in their group.
