and escaped naked.

They are all disappointing.

Judas in his betrayal.
And all have fled from Jesus through the night to save their lives.
Initially, one offered some material for better thoughts. A young man.
Was it Mark himself? It is supposed.
This youth followed the procession in the night.
More precisely, He followed Jesus. It was about Him.
He may have quickly put a linen cloth around his naked body, and left his house.
Suddenly out of bed on the street.
Because that’s where they took Jesus away. He had to be there. The High Priest’s servants wanted to seize him. And then he leaves the linen cloth and flees naked on the road through the night.
Rather the shame of nakedness than to be taken by the servants.
Rather the shame of nakedness than suffer with Him.
This is actually worse than the fleeing disciples.
Jesus has walked the press alone. Also for Mark.
For if it has been, as supposed, then he has made a confession by means of this writing before the church of all ages.
A confession of guilt.
A confession with tears.
