13 – Unwanted and rejected

Silence

Now there came a time I was almost silent.
▪︎Being banned from the churches (that ban was never lifted) I could not attend the meetings anymore, and ofcourse I was also not asked to preach ever again.
▪︎ Being stopped from having Bible groups by the Social Welfare (as they thought it was an extra source of income – the opposite was true)
The only times I could share my faith, were that rare occasions where I could talk to someone, as most now treated me as if I had a terrible disease.

And as I had no more friends, I filled my days with trying to find a job, and with my hobby photography.

Many of the photographs were used to add Bible verses to them, and served like ‘Bible pictures’.

Although most pictures only contained a flower or something similar with a verse directly copied from the Bible, most people didn’t dare to use them, because of what their pastors may say.
Many of those pictures are still available on my website http://bijbelplaatjes.nl but most I never published as the site was hardly visited.

I did several tries on social networks, only to find out that my pictures were deleted, and even my accounts were removed (without mentioning of any reason)
On Facebook it would commonly be deleted as soon as I reached some 70 or 80 friends. On a rare occasion I reached a hundred. My messages generally would be deleted after two or three days, so in the end I stopped with social networks.
They had me isolated at last.
