Psalms 56:11 (NASB)
In God I have put my trust, I shall not be afraid. What can man do to me?
Or:
I will not be afraid [for] what man can do unto me. (KJV)
Being afraid is a sensation that Adam and Eve experienced for the first time after they sinned against the Lord. Fear was not something that was implanted at the creation; it was a result of sin.
Genesis 3:10
He said, “I heard the sound of You in the garden, and I was afraid because I was naked; so I hid myself.”
This feeling of being afraid has become a tool for the enemy to use against all Christians who are ignorant of what they have in the Christ.
▪︎ Fear can freeze you, so you don’t react on the moment you actually should.
▪︎ And fear can prevent you from living to your full potential.
But when we belong to the Christ, we don’t have to live in fear anymore.
2 Timothy 1:7
For God has not given us a spirit of timidity, but of power and love and discipline.
The relationship you have received with God through the sacrifice of Jesus makes makes that you can trust God completely; for the full 100%.
Therefore, if any situation, man or woman, tries to put fear in you, learn to put that fear, or that situation into God’s hands.
Psalms 55:22
Cast your burden upon the Lord and He will sustain you; He will never allow the righteous to be shaken.
