Philippians 2:9-11
⁹ … God highly exalted Him, and bestowed on Him the name which is above every name, ¹⁰so that at the name of Jesus every knee will bow, of those who are in heaven and on earth and under the earth, ¹¹and that every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
This verse (vs.10) clearly says that EVERY knee will bow, that means NOBODY excluded, it emphasizes this by mentioning that this includes those who are in heaven, on earth, and under the earth, and that every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord (vs.11).
This includes those
▪︎ who now still dare to open their mouth against Him,
▪︎ who now still think that they can ignore Him, and those
▪︎ who now still stubbornly refuse to repent of their sins.
• Whatever the world may think,
• Whatever satan may whisper in their ears,
• Whatever lie they may choose to believe.
All will confess that there is no other like Jesus.
● Some will confess that with joy,
○ but many will be gnashing their teeth, when they are forced to admit that they were wrong.
● Some will bow their knees for Him, while they are honoring Him, thanking Him for His sacrifice, and praising the Father for His infinite love and grace,
○ but many will do so in fear, by way of surrendering, to King of kings, and Lord of lords.
● Those who love, and honor Him today, will on that great day love and honor Him even more,
○ but those who ignore, or hate Him today will hate Him even more after He judged them.
In which of these two groups will you find yourself?
Don’t fool yourself, if you ignore Him today, and keep doing so, you will not suddenly love Him on that day.
To receive salvation you need Jesus, for:
Acts 4:12 – There is salvation in no one else; for there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men, by which we must be saved.
It is only through Jesus that
▪︎ the sick are healed,
▪︎ the bound are set free,
▪︎ the dead will be raised,
▪︎ and that a person can attain eternal salvation.
For those that interrupt by saying that doctors and medications play an important role in healing, let me tell you a story:
There was a man who strongly believed in God. He went aboard of a boat to sail to an other country, but then the boat came in terribly bad weather. The man prayed to God for help, and he got the assurance that God would help him.
But the situation only got worse. The storm only got stronger and the waves higher. In the end water came into the boat and the boat sank. Nevertheless he still held on to the promise that God would save him.
After a while there passed by a ship that wanted to take him aboard, but the man refused. “No”, he said, “God promised me to save me”. The same happened two more times. Every time the man refused to go on board.
In the end the man drowned and in heaven he said “Why did You not save me, like you promised?” The answer was “I sent three ships, but you refused!”
Doctors, medical help, but also other help, may be sent by God, to offer you a way out of your sickness, or out of whatever problem you are facing.
▪︎ God has given knowledge to some people to help you.
▪︎ God has given medication to help you.
But in the end, it is still through Jesus that the sick are healed, and that problems are solved.
Be grateful for that.
God has highly exalted Jesus Christ, seating Him at His right hand, and He gave Him a name above any other name.
Surely the day will come, when EVERY knee will bow, and EVERY tongue will confess, that Jesus Christ is Lord !

▪︎ Thank God the Father and Jesus the Christ, for giving you eternal life.
▪︎ Thank Jesus for the sacrifice he brought for you.
▪︎ Thank God the Father and Jesus the Christ, for the immeasurable love and grace given to you.
▪︎ Take a moment to praise, and honor your God, for all He has done, and still is doing for you
