Jeremiah 10:23
I know, O Lord, that a man’s way is NOT in himself, NOR is it in a man who walks to direct his steps.
An other translation it reads: “I know, O LORD, that a man’s life is NOT his own; it is NOT for man to direct his steps”.
▪︎ You may have goals setup for your life
▪︎ You may have a sense of mission about your life
But your life is not really yours to plan.
You should greet every new day, as an other gift from God, for there is absolutely no guarantee that you will open your eyes again tomorrow, when you go to sleep in the evening.
▪︎ Every goal you have should ultimately be to his glory.
▪︎ Every true sense of direction you received, is a gift to you. Given to you from your Father’s Word or His Spirit.
Prayer suggestions:
▪︎ Ask your heavenly Father to lead you through His Holy Spirit.
▪︎ Ask your heavenly Father to fill you with His holy wisdom.
▪︎ Ask your heavenly Father to guide you into a more complete understanding of His will for your life.
▪︎ Ask your heavenly Father to grant you the grace to grow every day in faith and character.
