Amos 5:14
Seek good and not evil, that you may live;
And thus may the Lord God of hosts be with you
What do you seek today?
Do you seek good?
Or will you pursue evil
▪︎ Will you be nursing a grudge?
▪︎ Will you be spreading gossip?
▪︎ Will you be feeding greed?
▪︎ Will you be feeding a lust?
Those who will seek, and love, that which is good, may help not only themselves, but also help to save the land from ruin.
Let us all ask God to create in us a clean heart, and to renew a right spirit within us.
Psalms 51:10 – Create in me a clean heart, O God, And renew a steadfast spirit within me.
The Lord is always ready to be gracious to the souls that seek him.
But those who continue in their sinful life, will, just like Israel many times experienced, meet God’s judgments on them.
Be sure to receive God’s grace instead of God’s wrath.
Repent of your sins and follow Jesus!
