The patient grabbed the doctor’s hand:
“Doctor, I am so afraid of dying. Please tell me what awaits me on the other side, after death”.
Slowly and thoughtfully, the doctor replied, “I don’t know.”
“What,” cried the patient, “you are a Christian and you don’t know what it looks like after death?”
The doctor thought for a while; then he heard something at the door, walked over and opened it. At the same moment his dog entered and jumped up against him
clearly showed how happy he was.
Then the doctor said to the patient, “Have you seen my dog?
He’s never been in this room and he doesn’t know anyone here.
He knew nothing about the layout of this room;
just this one thing – his boss was on the other side of that door.
As soon as I opened it, he came in with great joy.
I don’t know very much about what awaits me after death;
only one thing I know: my Lord and Savior is on the other side.
And that’s the main thing for me “.
