2 Corinthians 1:9-11
⁹Indeed, we had the sentence of death within ourselves so that we would not trust in ourselves, but in God who raises the dead; ¹⁰who delivered us from so great a peril of death, and will deliver us, He on whom we have set our hope. And He will yet deliver us, ¹¹you also joining in helping us through your prayers, so that thanks may be given by many persons on our behalf for the favor bestowed on us through the prayers of many.
Devotional
Sometimes our challenges limit our ability to see the limitlessness of the power of God at work in us.
He has said in His Word that He is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that is at work in us (Ephesians 3:20).
Dear friends, which power is at work in you?
If it is the power of the Holy Spirit, and we are willing to cooperate with Him and trust Him, all things will appear to be possible.
Apostle Paul was convinced that God was able to deliver him and his coworkers in the Lord’s vineyard, so he continually trusted Him.
Forming the habit of praying every day at least three times a day will help us to trust God, and He will be right there to help us (Psalms 55:17–18).
After He has helped us, we shouldn’t forget to thank Him, because praise and thanksgiving are His daily food (Psalm 50:9–15).
Never doubt the Word of God.
Just believe it, do what it says, and wait on Him.
