1 John 3:8
The one who practices sin is of the devil;
for the devil has sinned from the beginning.
The Son of God appeared for this purpose,
to destroy the works of the devil.
The disciples saw a lot of that. His miraculous power was not unknown to them. The powers of darkness have lost it against Him. Devils were cast out.
His power was especially manifested on the morning of the first day of the week. Death and hell and grave He has swallowed up in victory. And now, Christ is risen!
With that He has achieved His purpose and also fulfilled the purpose His Father had.
Has not this Christ also obtained the quickening Spirit?
Are you or are you in the grip of powers?
You just can’t get rid of it?
Are you concerned about your child?
You can’t get it small?
Cast your net on the other side.
He, the Christ, is able by His Spirit to break down the strongest fortress.
Is the power of the evil one broken in you?
