Devotional
The Most High is truth. He cannot tell lies.
Every promise stated in His Word is true.
Any time He makes a promise, He watches over His Word to perform it (Jeremiah 1:12).
Jesus Christ buttressed it by saying that He is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6).
He has promised rest for everyone who is weary and heavily burdened and comes to Him
Remember that sin is a burden, and will surely rob you of eternal rest in God.
It puts people in bondage, causing diseases, pain, disappointments, failures, etc.
Many people are suffering today because of sin and wickedness.
Dear friends, the solution to your suffering is Jesus Christ.
When you allow Him to come into your life and start following Him, showing that you mean it by taking up your cross, then…
- He will bring you into a place of rest in Him.
- He will give you His Spirit to guide and lead you.
- He will also give you grace to overcome all trials and temptations.
