How necessary is prayer.
It is necessary in all circumstances.
- Prayer for wisdom in decisions to be made.
- Prayer for support in sickness.
- Prayer for strength.
- Prayer to be able to give up what the Lord has taken away.
Prayer is needed where a beloved husband or wife left an place at home.
Prayer is necessary for those who, if the Lord gives it, may carry out the Word again today or tomorrow.
Prayer is needed for true conversion.
Not only for yourself, but also for posterity.
Constant persistence in prayer is necessary. But who is capable of this? After all, we are so prayerless in ourselves.
May you then ask in holy embarrassment: Lord, teach me to pray.
What a grace to learn to pray in that way.
Such people will experience what will be given to them.
Good gifts will be bestowed upon them upon their prayer.
The Lord makes it true: If you ask for it, He will give, mildly and abundantly, all that you lack.
