Matthew 6:25 (KJV)
Therefore I say unto you,
Take no thought for your life,
what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink;
nor yet for your body,
what ye shall put on.
Is not the life more than meat,
and the body than raiment?
Giving attention to the Word of God keeps one away from anxiety.
Everybody is confronted with lots of issues every day, some of which are beyond our ability to provide or resolve.
We tend to worry about the ones that are beyond us instead of committing them into the Lord’s hands so that we can be free of them (1 Peter 5:7).
Sometimes we worry about the less important things instead of being grateful to God over the vital things He has provided for us.
Which is more important, life or food?
If God gives you life, don’t you think He can sustain your life by providing you with food? Yes, He can!
Yet some worry about food, water, clothing, money, marriage, etc., instead of being grateful to God for life.
Dear friends, you can put all anxiety or worry to rest if you begin to celebrate God for your life and good health. As you learn to show more appreciation to Him, your anxiety will disappear, giving way to God’s provision.
