The Pearl of great value. That is Jesus.
But you have to keep an eye out for that. Otherwise you see nothing in Him.
Who saw anything in Him when He was born?
Some shepherds. A few wise.
Who saw anything in Him when He walked the earth?
A tax collector in a tree, an adulteress by a well, a murderer on the cross. To them He was the discovery of their lives.
But the masses? They said not: You are worth more to us than the finest gold on earth.
The Pearl of great value.
You have to see that in Him.
So that you say: He is the Savior to Whom I can really tell everything.
He can understand me so well in everything.
He knows life from His own experience.
Fatigue. Pain. Sadness.
The Pearl of great value.
You have to see that in Him.
So that you say: He is the Savior, Who took the blows of God that I deserved.
And why?
Because I am a pearl in the eyes of Jesus.
I was bought for a high price! What a miracle.
So I never have to think that I am inferior. On the contrary!
Do you know that the Father knows you?
Do you know that you are of value?
Do you know that you are a pearl?
A pearl in God’s hand!
