Did you hear them Too?
People who are complaining that the church is so divided?
That the church is not one anymore?
Let Me tell you, they are not looking at the true followers of the Christ.
They are just looking at the different man made denominations.
If it is true what they say, then our Father, our Almighty God, has denied the prayer of is own Son.
In John 17:11,21-22 we hear Jesus pray:
¹¹I am no longer in the world; and yet they themselves are in the world, and I come to You. Holy Father, keep them in Your name, the name which You have given Me, that they may be one even as We are.
²¹that they may all be one; even as You, Father, are in Me and I in You, that they also may be in Us, so that the world may believe that You sent Me. ²²The glory which You have given Me I have given to them, that they may be one, just as We are one.
You may have experienced it too, that though there are many different denominations, you can be talking to a complete stranger, in some foreign country, a person you never met before, but suddenly there is that spark of contact, and you both realize, you are both believers in the Christ.
And suddenly there is that unity, you didn’t realize before.
You are brothers and sisters.
No matter what denomination you, or the other may belong to. You are one in Christ.
Against all odds… The true followers of the Christ are one.
In Christ, there is a tie that binds us together.
You don’t only feel that you are one.
You know, and you experience that we are all one in Him.
