Back to the Bible was the title under which I tried again to open the eyes of people for God’s plan for them.
Every month thousands of newspapers with parts from the Bible in easy language, devotionals, testimonies, and ofcourse an invitation were spread in the neighborhood.
On one Saturday I held a full day open air crusade with short Gospel sermons, different Gospel groups singing and in the evening a Gospel movie in a hall.
The hall, seating 400 people, was filled to the maximum, but the next day when a Sunday afternoon service was planned, nobody came. Absolutely nobody. In spite of the thousands of invitations that were sent, and the invitations in numerous newspapers the coming weeks nobody came. For four weeks I was there on my own.
Later I tried it again with a Bible evening. Then 6 persons came. And they kept coming till we had to leave, as the building was closed. Later it was demolished.
