▪︎ One of the things that Christianity cannot do without is prayer.
▪︎ Prayer is communion with God.
▪︎ In prayer, we interact with God, and answers, strength, and blessings are released to us.
When the disciples prayed for a replacement of Judas Iscariot, God answered them through their votes, and Mathias was chosen to be the twelfth apostle.
Prayer works when it is done in faith with the Word of God.
James 1:6-8 NASB
⁶But he must ask in faith without any doubting, for the one who doubts is like the surf of the sea, driven and tossed by the wind. ⁷For that man ought not to expect that he will receive anything from the Lord, ⁸being a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways.
No matter how small your need is, God wants you to share it with Him.
Proverbs 3:5 NASB
Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding.
Dear friends, don’t be like the people who only pray when they are confronted with a problem.
Prayer is fellowship with our heavenly Father, so it must be done every day, even when there are no pressing needs in our lives.
Pray for yourself and your family, friends, neighbors, church, society, and nation.
