King James Version
We give thanks to God always for you all, making mention of you in our prayers; Remembering without ceasing your work of faith, and labour of love, and patience of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ, in the sight of God and our Father; Knowing, brethren beloved, your election of God.
Devotional
Learning to pray for one another as children of God intensifies our love for one another, and we grow together.
Jesus Christ prayed for His disciples before He went to the cross, and He even prayed for those who would believe in Him.
John 17:9
I ask on their behalf;
I do not ask on behalf of the world,
but of those whom You have given Me;
for they are Yours;
Thus you and I were prayed for, even before we believed in Jesus.
Apostle Paul learned of this and continually offered prayers for his converts to be steadfast in faith, love, and patience.
Dear friends, when you make time to pray, remember others also in your prayers.
▪︎ Pray for the brethren who are struggling in their faith;
▪︎ remember in prayer that neighbor who is not born again.
Everyone needs help, and as we pray for one another, the church grows in love, faith, and patience, and greater works are done for Christ.
Prayer suggestion
▪︎ Thank the Lord for praying for you.
▪︎ Now also pray for others as well.
