Life is a mystery, and it emanates from God.
The life of mankind started in the Garden of Eden, where only joy, fruitfulness, and perfection existed. It wasn’t long, however, before sin came in and ruined the wonderful life that God created for mankind. The entrance of sin led to pain, decay, sickness, persecution, and eventually death.
The Christian life also has many challenges, afflictions, persecutions, etc.
Therefore, do not be surprised if you are suffering from any of these. But meditate on the opening scripture and ask for God’s intervention when you are being persecuted. He has prepared instruments of death, or deadly weapons and arrows, to punish your persecutors.
Dear friends, this should trigger you to celebrate the Lord (Psalm 21:13).
Just hand over your persecutors to the Lord, and He will deal with them to give you the freedom and peace that you so much desire.
