What Do You See?

Ecclesiastes 1:14 NASB
I have seen all the works
which have been done under the sun,
and behold, all is vanity
and striving after wind.

Other translations

King James Version
I have seen all the works that are done under the sun; and, behold, all is vanity and vexation of spirit.

The things one sees is crucial to their spiritual and physical development.

Under the heavens, one can see the sky, vegetation, the ocean, the land, birds, people, minerals, etc.
There are also a variety of works that are accomplished by people under the sun.

There are lots of meaningless things that people are chasing under the sun because of a lack of the wisdom of God. And in the end, they come to realize that they were chasing the wind.

Dear friends, when you get carried away by your own desires, you will be chasing the wind.
However, when you allow the Holy Spirit to lead you, you will pursue the things of the Kingdom of God, that is, righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit.

Romans 14:17
The kingdom of God is not eating and drinking,
but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.

May you only seek the Kingdom of God and lay up treasures in heaven (Matthew 6:20–21).

Prayer suggestion

▪︎ Ask God to lead you to focus on seeking the Kingdom of God and His righteousness.
