Galatians 6:10
As we have opportunity, let us DO GOOD to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers.
We, who are followers of the Christ, should be people who do good deeds! So when God gives us opportunities don’t let them pass, but take the chances He offers us!
Those who live in the world may be BLIND to these chances as they usually are only looking to GET AHEAD, to IMPROVE their situation, to GET EVEN with someone, or to get out of DIFFICULT SITUATIONS.
Let us be COMPLETELY DIFFERENT from that and look for opportunities to do good!
Not because it would do any good to US, but because it does good to THE OTHER for whom we do it.
NOT like some churches teach, that you could earn your way to heaven with it, for you can’t.
There is absolutely no way you could ever possibly earn that, for that is a gift of GRACE from God which you receive by FAITH.
These churches have turned things around.
For you don’t do good to come close to the Father,
You live close to the Father, and therefore you do good!
Like you don’t do good works to go to heaven,
But, you have Jesus in your heart, and so you know what is waiting for you, therefore you do good works.
