Matthew 7:13-14
¹³Enter through the narrow gate; for the gate is wide and the way is broad that leads to destruction, and there are many who enter through it.
¹⁴For the gate is small and the way is narrow that leads to life, and there are few who find it.
Where are you going?
Did you find the narrow gate?
Did you start going the narrow way, that leads to life?
Did you come alone?
Did you start to go the narrow way alone?
The gate is too small to go through it with many others at the same time.
The way is too narrow to go through it with others.
You have to come alone, and you have to go alone.
When you are going in a big group,
When you came to the gate with many at the same time,
You may ask yourself, through which gate you entered.
When you are going in a big group,
When you walk the way with many at the same time,
You may ask yourself, which way you are going.
On the narrow way there is no room for big groups.
The narrow way is just wide enough for one person.
Others will be behind you, or ahead of you.
You need a personal relationship with your Savior!
You have to go your way through life alone, following Jesus.
Are you following Jesus?
On the broad way Jesus will not go ahead of you, He will not lead you to destruction. He is found on the narrow way that leads to life.
Is it okay with you?
Is it well with your soul?
Don’t say yes too quickly.
When you look around in your life, what do you see?
Saturday evening in a dancing, and Sunday morning in church?
Friday gambling in a casino, and Sunday morning in church?
Thursday with friends, half drunk in a bar, and Sunday morning in church?
You cannot be friends with the world, and at the same time be friends with God!
You cannot walk the narrow way, and the broad way at the same time!
My friends, go to Jesus, and follow Him.
And leave the worldly pleasures that will take your attention and love away from Him Who wants to save you from destruction.
