My wife pushing me to hospital
It was the 26th of December 2021 when I had a lot of pain. My daughter drove me to hospital where a catheter was implanted, which was replaced a few times since then, but I still have a catheter today.
One month later, on one morning I was not able to stand on my legs anymore, I just didn’t have the strength for it.
So back to hospital.
After different tests they discovered that I had developed cancer in the prostate which also moved to my pelvis and my spinal cord.
The latter caused an injury on my spinal cord which on its turn made it impossible for me to stand, let alone walk.
After a while in hospital, I was a few months in medical rehabilitation.
Now I can stand for a short moment, providing I can lean on something. Inside the house I can move around using a walker, and outside I have to use a wheelchair.
In November I had an other heart attack. This time it was so light, that I didn’t even recognize it as a heart attack, but thought it was because of asthma.
In hospital I was told that my heart has now only the strength of 40% of a heart of a healthy person.
I now easily feel tired after doing something. This is also why I may not be able to write a devotional every day. And why I now cannot accept any Invitations as I now don’t know how I will feel tomorrow.
So this was added to the series of attacks I already had on my body. Which started right after I was born.
But as long as I can, I will continue to point people to Jesus, Who saved us from the eternal wrath of God.
