Have you ever wondered why God seemingly did not answer some of your prayers?
We may assume that some of our prayers are not yet answered, but my experience is that God more than once already was providing the answer but I did not recognize it as an answer, because it was so much different from what I had in mind how the answer should look like.
Every time His way was so much better than were I asked for!
For years I have been without a job. I prayed a lot over this, but I never got an other job.
But… God has always provided our needs. Sometimes in the last minute, sometimes in miraculous ways. But He took care for us all the time.
Now after I had an heart attack and shortly after a cardiac arrest I am almost sure that I could not have survived them if I was in some working position. Even now the doctors speak of a miracle that I survived, and that everything was exactly in place to help me.
So it seemed that my prayers were unanswered.
But they were, all the time, only I was blind to see it.
An other reason God may not answer in the way we would think is that maybe we are not (yet) ready to receive. Or maybe we did not even ask, or ask wrongly.
Please read with an open mind and an open heart what the Bible teaches us in James 4:2-4
“You desire and you do not have; you murder and envy and you cannot obtain; you quarrel and fight. You do not have because you do not ask;
you ask and do not receive because you ask wrongly, so you can spend it on your passions. Adulterers, do you not know that friendship with the world means hostility toward God? So whoever decides to be the world’s friend makes himself God’s enemy.”
May God bless you.
May God help us to understand that His ways are higher than our ways
AMEN. GOD BLESS YOU TOO.
