Ecclesiastes 9:18 NASB
Wisdom is better than weapons of war,
but one sinner destroys much good.
Devotional
God is love, and He has put this virtue in human beings, especially His children.
He didn’t create human beings to fight among themselves and kill themselves.
He created us to have dominion on the earth and to use the earth to His glory
Genesis 1:26-28
²⁶Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; and let them rule over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the sky and over the cattle and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.”
²⁷God created man in His own image, in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.
²⁸God blessed them; and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth, and subdue it; and rule over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the sky and over every living thing that moves on the earth.”
But due to greed and selfishness, human beings have developed weapons to kill other human beings, for their wealth, riches, and power.
Weapons that could be used to provide security are being used to perpetuate crime due to lack of wisdom.
Dear friends, choose divine wisdom over weapons of war because through wisdom, we can decide to live in peace with one another
Hebrews 12:14
Pursue peace with all men,
and the sanctification without which no one will see the Lord.
Through wisdom, we protect lives instead of destroying them.
Choose wisdom so that you can be used by God to bless others.
