Any time the subject of love is discussed, the source of it cannot be left out.
The source of true love is God. In fact, God is love.
1 John 4:8
The one who does not love
does not know God,
for God is love.
He created human beings out of love, and He loves human beings so much that when they sinned, He sent His Son Jesus to atone for the sin through His death on the cross.
Anyone who claims he or she loves God will accept Jesus Christ as his or her Lord and personal Savior, and everyone who accepts Jesus Christ is called by God to fulfill His purpose.
God is so good that He causes all the events, both good and bad, that happen in His children’s lives to ultimately work for our good.
Dear friends, love God by responding to His offer of salvation in the person of our Lord Jesus Christ, and serve Him faithfully.
Be obedient to Him and submit to His training, and He will make your life a testimony
Isaiah 1:19
If you consent and obey,
You will eat the best of the land
He made the lives of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Joseph, Mary, Hannah, David, and ultimately Jesus Christ a testimony, and when you truly follow Him, you will be the next.
Prayer suggestion
▪︎ Thank God for His Word of exhortation.
▪︎ Ask God to lead you by His Spirit to love Him and your brothers more than you do today.
▪︎ Ask God to help you to submit to His training so that your life will become a testimony to Him.
