If you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord,
and believe in your heart
that God raised Him from the dead,

Devotional
After a person starts to believe in Jesus Christ and confesses Him as Lord, he will be saved. Then he has to pick up his cross, and Follow Jesus on the narrow way.
The process of salvation doesn’t end with only confessing Jesus, after that the convert has to start following Jesus, and become a disciple (pupil) of Him.
▪︎ He may still sometimes experience the pain and sorrow of falling back into sin.
▪︎ He may still sometimes be afflicted with diseases,
▪︎ He may still sometimes experience disappointments, and challenges, etc.
You need to believe in the Word of God and you may bring it all before His throne, knowing that He will hear you.
Job 22:26-27
²⁶For then (When the Almighty will be your God – vs 25) you will delight in the Almighty And lift up your face to God. ²⁷You will pray to Him, and He will hear you.
This too is an aspect of salvation, so one should never stop confessing the Word of God and believing in Jesus Christ. It must continue daily in a Christian’s life in order for them to enjoy all the benefits of salvation.

▪︎ Ask the Lord to teach you, and continually remind you, to confess Him.
