for the work to which I have called them.”
Devotional
When people genuinely worship the Lord, God may cals them to service and mission. Christian worship is not an end in itself, but it could very well be your launching pad to Christian mission.
Don’t get so caught up in the worship experience that you leave it at the door when you walk away. Instead, understand that it is to inspire you to public worship and service in the world during your everyday life.
Romans 12:1-2
¹Therefore I urge you, brethren, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living and holy sacrifice, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service of worship. ²And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect.
As you worship with your brothers and sisters, also listen to the words of the songs, the message of the Scripture, and the conviction of the Holy Spirit on your heart.
God may be calling you to a special mission in your world!
