Adèle Kamm fell ill at the age of 21 and died in 1911 after years of unspeakable suffering.
In those years she wrote, among other things:
“I know a Master greater than Michel Angelo: God.
His marble is man,
His chisel is sorrow.
And when I have a lot of pain and it is as if I can no longer bear it, then I say to myself: The Master is at work, He wants to make me more beautiful, better. I thank you, my God! “
