Grace, mercy, peace to you from God our Father,
and Christ Jesus our Lord. (1 Timothy 1:2)
What wonderful things they are, but also indispensable things that Paul wishes to Timothy.
If we love one another in the Lord …
▪︎ Then we grant each other those spiritual blessings.
▪︎ Then we will spend a lot of time praying for each other.
● He wishes him mercy for him.
That is, that he may experience God’s Fatherly favor and love in Christ. But also the grace of our Lord Jesus.
That is, that he may experience it vividly that Christ also loved him. His blood also shed for him; Also prepare a place for him in the Father’s house with the many houses.
● He wishes him grace for him.
That grace is so full, so rich, so overflowing, even to the greatest sinner.
But it must be known and experienced.
Is that your desire too?
● He also wishes peace to Timothy.
Mercy and grace comes from a burning heart.
To feel God’s heart of love burning by the Holy Spirit in your own heart.
That is bliss. That gives true peace.
A peace so dearly acquired.
How much the Lord has to offer His child..!
