When we were still living in the world, we were greatly influenced by what the world had to offer us.
After we decided to follow Jesus, the influence of God’s Kingdom grew in our lives, and the influence of the world diminished.
Only when we have left this world, the world has no more influence on us. Till then it is a daily struggle to stay on the narrow path to His Kingdom.
That is why we have to closely follow Jesus and listen to Him. Do not be distracted by what others may tell you.
Just follow Him.
