In the Bible we read of an angel who meets with Daniel
“And said, O man greatly beloved (man of high esteem), fear not (be not afraid): peace be unto thee (peace be with you), be strong, yea, be strong (take courage and be courageous). And when he had spoken unto me, I was strengthened (as soon as he spoke to me, I received strength), and said, Let (May) my lord speak; for thou hast (you have) strengthened me.” Daniel 10:19 (KJV)
After Daniel had prayed and fasted for 21 days, he received an answer, and the angel told him that he was stopped for that whole time by the powers of darkness.
Daniel 10:13
But the prince of the kingdom of Persia was withstanding me for twenty-one days; then behold, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me, for I had been left there with the kings of Persia.
▪︎ So often we expect an immediate answer, but God will answer in his time
▪︎ So often I hear people brag about binding satan, but they don’t know what they are saying, and it would be good for them to watch what comes out of their mouth.
This angel who came to Daniel, was a strong angel. When Daniel heard his voice he fell in a deep sleep on his face, and when the angel touched him (this was a friendly touch) Daniel was trembling on his hands and knees.
Daniel 10:9-10
⁹But I heard the sound of his words; and as soon as I heard the sound of his words, I fell into a deep sleep on my face, with my face to the ground. ¹⁰Then behold, a hand touched me and set me trembling on my hands and knees.
This strong angel needed help !
So who are those people who brag about binding satan ?
I just want to show you how much we all need God’s continual protection against the powers of darkness, and that it is only in the Christ that we can be conquerors.
▪︎ When this angel at last reached Daniel, he explained Daniel everything that he needed to know about the vision he saw, and what to expect in the future about the people of Israel.
▪︎ When the angel began to speak, Daniel regained strength and alertness.
My friends,
What you need, to make life meaningful for you, is a good relationship with God, and the knowledge He gives you in His word.
In 1 Peter 1:23 we read:
You have been born again, not of seed which is perishable, but imperishable, that is, through the living and enduring word of God.
You are born again through the word of God, and therefore you also need the word of God to live.
All challenges in your life have a solution. And most of those solutions are already in the Scriptures. This is an other reason why you need to read the Bible, so you will know what the Bible is telling you.
What you need to do, is read your Bible, and pray, daily.
▪︎ Keep a continuous conversation with your Father going.
▪︎ Have a good and healthy relationship with God your Father
And the Holy Spirit, Who is given to you as a Comforter, will teach, and help you. And ultimately show you the solution that God desires for your particular situation. Note that this may be different from whatever your desire may be.
