That You gave up Your heavenly glory for me.
That You were willing to come to this Earth for me.
And that You were willing to be born in a humble stable for me.

That You were willing to drink the cup, full of God’s wrath on my sin for me.
And that You let Yourself being tied like criminal for me.

That You took being hit, and being spit on, that you took all
those humiliations for me.
That You took those beatings and whip lashes for me.

Who am I Lord ?
That You carried the cross to Golgotha for me.
That You let them put those nails through Your hands and feet for me.
And that You took that spear through Your heart for me.

That You died in such a terrible way, to set me free.

That You rose again, and now are with me forever.
