Leviticus 6:25
Speak to Aaron and to his sons, saying,
‘This is the law of the sin offering:
in the place where the burnt offering is slain
the sin offering shall be slain before the Lord;
it is most holy.
This is the law of the sin offering.
The priests and the people are re-inculcated that the sacrifice should be properly handled.
Every sin offering must be burned with fire.
The meat of the sin offering, which comes from a chief or from an individual from Israel, may be eaten by the priests.
Thus sin is eaten up and away, as it were!
However, everything that has come into contact with this sacrificial meat is disinfected.
▪︎ Clothes are washed;
▪︎ earthen vessels etc. are broken;
▪︎ copper dishes thoroughly sanded and cleaned with water before reuse.
With all these regulations it is made clear that the Lord wants nothing to do with sin.
All iniquity must be swept away.
Whoever really sees through the Spirit that no impurity should exist in the encounter with God, needs the Holy One and His finished work for everyone and everything.
Only in Him can I exist eternally before God!
Justification, purification and sanctification are indispensable and obtainable at the highest Address.
