1 John 3:5
You know that He appeared
in order to take away sins;
and in Him there is no sin.
Who does that?
This is done by Him who knew no sin, and in Whom there is no sin.
These are the comforting words at the end of our text.
There is one Who knows how to deal with our sins and our sin.
The Lord Jesus, the Christ, provides counsel in that need.
You who are reading this, may be in a deep valley, into which you have brought yourself through disobedience and sin.
God the Father sent His Son into the world, and made Him known that He might take away sins.
Will you take that to heart.
He has not been revealed for Himself, but for the wicked, who would confess their guilt.
Pour out your heart to Him.
Speak the high word.
He takes away sins, because he carried away sins on the cursed wood of Calvary.
The chastisement that brings us peace was upon Him.
Do you believe that. Faith says “Amen”!
