Read: 1 Kings 17:17-24
“When you die, everything is over… You can say it’s different, but no one has ever come back from the dead!” Sometimes you hear people say this.
But it’s not true what they say.
Because Jesus has risen from the dead!
And even centuries before, people were called back from the dead.
Like that boy from today’s Bible passage, deep in the first part of the Bible, the Old Testament.
This widow’s son did not get up by himself. The Son of God did, because He conquered death. But this boy was called back from the dead at the prayer of the prophet Elijah.
Throughout his life, Elijah told the people:
▪︎ Without God, your life’s path will come to a dead end.
▪︎ Without God you go to destruction.
The resurrection of this boy was a sign that wanted to say: See, you have to be with God to have real life!
One day death will not be there at all.
You can believe it…or not…!.
