1 John 2:22
Who is the liar
but the one who denies that Jesus is the Christ?
This is the antichrist,
the one who denies the Father and the Son.
This is about the grossest and most dangerous lie that can be told.
Whoever speaks this lie is on the side of the antichrist.
It is about denying that Jesus is the Christ.
This is still a hot topic today.
It is denied that Jesus is the same as the Christ, the eternal Son of God.
That means that the eternal Word of God did not become flesh in Jesus.
And that the blood of Jesus is not the blood of the Son of God.
The disastrous consequences are:
▪︎No reconciliation with God.
▪︎No Eternal Life.
▪︎No saving grace of God in the Lord Jesus Christ.
What is left then, without all that?
Meanwhile, also to ignore Him in the practice of life is to deny that He is the Christ.
