Seeking contact with the Father in solitude
We often read that of the Lord Jesus, that He withdrew into solitude to seek contact with His Father. During the day He was busy with His teaching and..healing the sick. But all that work was sustained by constant prayer, especially in the stillness of the night.
He is an example to us in this too. No matter how busy we are, we will have to make time for prayer. The more work we have, the more intense our prayer will have to be.
In doing so, we will have to seek out the loneliness, the inner room. The Lord Jesus left the crowds behind Him! We will also have to leave everything behind to be alone with Him.
