Who pardons all your iniquities,
Who heals all your diseases;

Who forgives all your iniquities
It is great when, being sick, we may experience the healing grace of the Lord, and may rise, either gradually or immediately, from a sick-bed which seemed to be our death-bed.
Yet that is only a temporary deliverance, and we know that there is none alive who will not sleep the sleep of death. That is why it is even more important that we experience God’s grace in the forgiveness of our sins, for that is a good that lasts for eternity.
And now we may know that the Lord loves nothing more than to bestow this grace upon them, who, knowing their iniquity, by the working of the Spirit, draw near therewith with a broken heart, before Him.
The Lord shows that again today, by having the gospel of His forgiving love and grace proclaimed everywhere.
What a privilege, then, it must be to us to place ourselves under the ministry of the Word.
In the preaching thereof it sounds unto us, Who forgiveth all thy iniquities. He puts, as it were, a whole world between us and our guilt, for as far as the west is from the east, so far does He remove our iniquities from us.
