Jesus was born to set us free, and to restore our relationship with the Father.

Then the devil left Him;
and behold, angels came
and began to minister to Him.

Also the last temptation was conquered.
The devil has been defeated by the Son of God.
We also read that the devil departed from Him.
He could not abide with Him, Who will do His Father’s will in all things.
But then something else happens.
Then the Angels come and serve Him.
That was something very special.
Out there in the desert, heaven shows it, that He is the conqueror. Now the angels are sent to Him to serve Him. It is not stated what that service consisted in.
They were no doubt sent to Him for the refreshment of his body.
He had fasted for a long time. He must have been exhausted.
Now there are messengers from heaven who give Him what He needs according to His human nature.
They will also have strengthened and honored Him. Anyway, here is the reward from heaven to God’s Son. It becomes a piece of paradise in the desert, for a moment.
Thus, by payment to God’s justice, He will also receive the glory in the end.
Now He must again go into the wilderness of the wrath of God.
He has yet to bear the penalty.
