Because I love God, I want to do His will.
Jangling noises filled the auditorium.
An orchestra was being made ready for a concert, and each musician was bringing his instrument into tune.
The conductor came on stage.
He bowed in recognition of a hearty ovation by the audience.
He turned to his orchestra. Everyone became quiet.
With meaningful gestures, the leader seemed to bring forth in harmony the sounds from many varied instruments and as a result of that, the audience was enchanted.
Something like that can come to our world.
You and I are privileged to bring our instruments of life into tune with God, with things eternal.
Doing that, each of us will find his life brought into tune with others of like mind and heart.
Christ is at the center. With uplifted arms and guiding hands, He waits for our attention and our response.
The world may be filled with the glorious harmonies of peace when we learn that obedience is the yielding of ourselves and our skills to the Master’s wisdom and guidance.
Prayer suggestion
▪︎ Thank the Father for His love for us.
▪︎ Ask the Father to teach you to love Him in such a way that obedience to Him becomes your constant purpose.
