Mark 13:13
And ye shall be hated of all [men]
for my name’s sake:
but he that shall endure unto the end,
the same shall be saved.
Devotional
But whoever will endure to the end will be saved (Mark 13: 13).
Enduring to the end is no small matter.
Because it goes through the hatred and opposition of many.
Enmity surrounds you on all sides if you want to stand out for the Name and cause of the Lord.
Not only in the world, but also in the church.
When it comes to how a sinner is saved, the high word must go out.
That can never be otherwise than only through Jesus. He is to be revealed to us and in us, and embraced by faith.
That’s what it comes down to. That is what it takes.
▪︎ We may have experienced life changes that lead to life improvements,
▪︎ we may have shed tears for our sins,
▪︎ we may have brought it to offices in the church,
▪︎ we may even have received the approval of the people of God …
But in the end it is only about one thing …
To be found and saved in the Christ.
He alone is the Shelter.
He alone can keep me faithfully from trouble.
No one else!
Having nothing, poor and naked, living from Jesus alone.
He that endures to the end will be saved.
